It goes without saying that Kishoreda is my fav singer of all times. Here is an my pick of Kishoreda’s 10 memorable songs, the list may not be the perfect one and no way complete but I have tried sincerely.

1. Mere Naina Sawan Bhado This song is composed in “Raga Shivranjani “ and this Raga is considered to be the most difficult to sing. Kishore da had refused to sing it the first time around but RD was sure that only he can do justice. Just try to sing this song when u are alone at home I bet it would leave you gasping .

2. Aa Chal Ke Tujhe
This song is written, composed & sung by Kishoreda & trust me when you will listen this song you would be able to feel the beauty of the piece. Kishoreda has used his “Tartiya Sur” while singing this song and as always heis at his best.

3. Tere Bina Zindagi Se Koi
This song the ultimate example of Kishoreda’s style and i always find myself mesmerized whenever i listen this song. Kishore da’s entry is quite late in the song but what a entry. you cannot help yourself of mesmerization.

4. O Majhi Re
The beauty of this song is in its echo. If you will listen with an ipod or a walkman i promise you it will take you right next to the oarsman moving along ever so slowly on the river.

5. Mere Mahboob Kyamat Hogi
This song is pop the champagne cork song of Kishoreda’s era. Kishoreda’s voice and the melancholy in this song is just indescribable. An absolute must for all Kishoreda’s die hard fans.

6. Kora Kagaz Tha Ye Mann Mera
The song starts with an almost silence and goes on to have all complexities of rhythm. For all the novices who claim they can ever imitate Kishoreda, just try it once. For the truth is there is only one Kishoreda.

7. Manjile Apni Jagah Hai
The classic bollywood sharabi song. The total aloofness, the absolute pain in the song makes it a instant hit in every sentimental hits of Kishoreda collection

8. Yeh Sham Mastani
The peak of Romanticism. Kishoreda used his own trademark whistling in this song and result was amazing and even today this song is considered to be the finest example of romance.

9. Vo Sham Kuch Azeeb Thi
This song is the classic of Hemant Kumar and he actually composed it for himself but when he heard Kishoreda humming the song he forgot singing itself and kishoreda created a masterpiece.

10. Choo Kar Mere Man Ko
I really don’t know what to write about this song.Such melody, subtleness in voice is yoet to be matched for.

Though i have tried my hard to write the best songs of Kishore yet i know that i have hailed miserably in doing so because choosing 10 best songs of Kishoreda is like finding which breath is the breath of life.
